CAN-CORE is a unique and powerful blend of powdered polymers formulated specifically to maximize core recovery in the most challenging ground conditions, such as sand and gravel. CAN-CORE also provides superior hole stabilization, preventing holes from collapsing during drilling operations. Unlike Bentonite, CAN-CORE penetrates the formation and
strengthens it from the inside out, creating a protective film that maintains the integrity of the core sample and your borehole wall. CAN-CORE is a great alternative to Bentonite, reducing mixing time, transportation costs, and eliminating associated health hazards.
CAN-CORE should be premixed with CAN-LUBE before introducing it to the water tank to create a high viscosity mud system. If more viscosity is required, add CAN-DRILL to your mud system.
BASED ON A 1,000 LT MIXING TANK
Pour 1 liter of CAN-LUBE into an empty container.
Add 1 liter of CAN-CORE to the CAN-LUBE and premix well. Add CAN-DRILL if more viscosity is required.
Add the premixed combination of CAN-LUBE and polymer to your mixing tank, then add 0.5 – 1 liter of
CAN-CLAY to the mix if needed. Finish filling with water while continuing to mix. For best results, mix for
10 Minutes if possible, this should result in a viscosity of 40-45 seconds.
